Request deletion of your VisaKlaro data
You may request deletion of personal data associated with your VisaKlaro membership, including data connected through Facebook Login or Google Sign-In.
Before this URL is submitted to Meta/Google or used for public launch, set VISAKLARO_PRIVACY_EMAIL to a monitored public inbox.
What happens after a verified request
After a valid request is verified, VisaKlaro will process deletion or de-identification of personal account data as appropriate. This can include:
- VisaKlaro member profile information associated with the account;
- stored Facebook or Google provider identifiers and provider-linked profile information;
- personal Visa Tracker records associated with the account, subject to any information that must be retained for legitimate security, legal, dispute, or integrity reasons; and
- Community content where deletion is required or appropriate. In some cases, content or statistical records may instead be de-identified so that they no longer identify the account.
If you used Facebook Login
You can also remove VisaKlaro from Facebook's Apps and Websites settings. Removing the connection prevents future Facebook access through that authorization, but it does not by itself guarantee deletion of data already stored by VisaKlaro. To request deletion from VisaKlaro, follow the instructions on this page.
If you cannot sign in
You do not need to be signed in to read these instructions. If you cannot access your VisaKlaro account, send the deletion request from the email address previously used for your membership whenever possible so we can verify the request safely.
